Summertime in Concord means beautiful weather and, of course, summer vacation for students of all ages! While it’s a time of joy and anticipation for children, it can also be a time of preparation for adults. 2. The New Hampshire Audubon McLane Center

If your grandchildren love animals, you should not pass up an opportunity to check out the New Hampshire Audubon McLane Center. This wildlife refuge is teeming with unique wildlife that will wow children of all ages. Then, after playing and exploring, you and the kids can relax on the beach and enjoy the waterfront. There are opportunities for water sports, swimming, boating and more. Those who enjoy racing will want to get behind the wheel. Then, take the kids mini golfing in one of the most unique courses in the area. Finally, have them test their skills on the climbing walls. 5. The Bear Brook River

The Bear Brook River is a 10-mile long river that is just outside of Concord, NH. It is a tributary of a couple of larger rivers and is part of the Gulf of Maine Watershed. This is a great place for grandchildren who love the outdoors and want to spend their time enjoying the beautiful Concord weather without getting too hot.
