I stood on the porch for a minute before I remembered how the melting snow is feeding the rock-bedded rivers with thousands of gallons of fresh water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water is in a rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where exactly each drop comes from is unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s destination is unknown, too. But it has one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water has a path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The way is rocky, but it always gets by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water doesn\u2019t worry about how to get downstream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water doesn\u2019t know if it will go lift a boat or feed a pasture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But all of it has a purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I rush and twist and turn and wonder about the next bend in my path, I\u2019m going to take a deep breath (or two), and remind myself that I, too, will get to where I must go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because that is how Creation works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>John Terauds, CPE Intern<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My southern Vermont town was still asleep early Sunday morning, but I heard a roaring noise in the background.
