We`re excited to celebrate Earth Day 2026 together on Wednesday, April 22nd! Join us for a morning of outdoor work and community building as we give back to Mother Earth. From 9-11 AM, residents and staff will do light raking and cleanup in their respective areas. At 11 AM, we`ll gather for a special community pansy planting event at the barrels in front of each building - many hands will make this a fun and meaningful process!
The morning concludes with a participant lunch at noon on each campus. We`ve registered this event on the official Earth Day 2026 calendar at earthday.org. Sign-up sheets are coming soon, and we hope for wonderful weather and great participation. Can`t participate physically? Join us as a cheerleader - your support is just as valuable!

Saturday`s Hiking Club heads to Karen`s Woods. And don`t forget - Earth Day is coming up on April 22nd! We already have approximately 130 volunteers signed up - impressive support already!

Our Easter Parade was such a fun celebration! Residents showed off their beautifully decorated hats as they paraded through the Health Service Center on Easter Sunday. The creativity on display was amazing - everyone really went all out with their designs. What a great way to celebrate together!

What an incredible presentation by Liz Dane on March 26th! Liz shared wonderful memories of growing up on a private zoo with animals, birds, and reptiles.
Her bond with Queenie the elephant was so strong that after 38 years apart, they were reunited and Queenie absolutely remembered her.
From waterskiing with elephants to performing on TV shows and campaigning with politicians, Liz and Queenie had amazing adventures together. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary story with us, Liz!

Wednesday features HHH University, our Volunteer Breakfast at 9 AM, and a Sewing Room knitting class where you`ll learn to knit and make an Easter bunny.
Thursday includes Cross Campus Book Club, Maundy Thursday Community Service at 3 PM, and the Concord Coachmen Chorus open rehearsal at 7 PM.
Friday wraps up with World Concerns on Ukraine, Good Friday Service at 11 AM, and Parkinson`s Support Group. Saturday brings Saturday Singers, and Sunday is our Easter Parade at 10 AM - don your Easter hat!
