"These hands are 88 years old and were born in Manchester NH. These hands raised 4 children. 3 girls and 1 boy. These hands played doubles on the UNH Tennis team with her husband. These hands loved cooking, gardening, holding ski poles and holding bike handlebars. These hands paddled many times by canoe to the islands on Lake Winnesquam where they lived. These hands worked as an OT and touched and helped many patients. These hands held the music for many a concert with the Friendship Chorus, traveling to Central Europe. These hands raised many animals on the farm. Sheep, horses, dogs and cats and even a skunk."
Our team created this meaningful art installation where each photograph captures a resident`s hands and their unique story. These images represent journeys of strength, resilience, and individual experience.

"If a mouse can do it – surely HHH hikers can do it!!! And YES, 12 determined, motivated, persistent (and maybe a bit crazy) hikers enjoyed a difficult snowy terrain on Wednesday, February 19th. We slogged 2.4 miles (about 8000 steps) on the Nowell Trail of the Broken Ground Trail system in Concord. Luckily, we had some relief from a snowmobile and a snowshoer or two going before us to help flatten down the snow. But, what a sense of accomplishment at the end – feeling that we had earned the privilege to sit and watch TV or read a book the rest of the day, while resting our weary muscles." - Jane Heigis ❄️
