Special thanks to Elizabeth`s daughter Jane and our anonymous donor for making this beautiful addition possible. The two pieces, accompanied by a commemorative plaque, create a captivating display that residents and visitors alike can enjoy for years to come.
This project represents innovation in action - transforming our space while being mindful of resources. We`re grateful to everyone who helped make this vision a reality, from Mark`s team handling the installation to Sue`s invaluable partnership throughout the process.

"On the `brisk` first day of Winter (December 21), eleven of us had a wonderful time hiking the trails on the nearby Forest Society property. Although the snow-covered trails generally provided good footing, every so often the snow hid a patch of ice that was a challenge even for boots with micro-spikes. Fortunately, despite a couple sliding falls, no one was hurt. The sunshine, wide-open views through the leafless woods, and camaraderie made for a marvelous morning outdoors."

Since then, through the combined generosity of our residents, staff members, and corporate support, HHH has proudly raised over $100,000 to help fight hunger in our community.
We`re thrilled to announce 2024`s contribution of $8,800! This achievement truly demonstrates what we can accomplish when our entire community comes together for a worthy cause.

"The Hiking Club took a short hike in the Muchyedo Banks Wildlife Management Area high above a huge oxbow in the Merrimack River. The ground was snow covered but not slippery. Strong wind had blown sand from the cliffs up onto the snow giving it a brownish-orange tint. A number of members of Don Hayes’ family, who were in town to celebrate his grandson’s wedding, joined us and added something special to the hike." 🏔️
