Welcome All,
Each of us realizes we are in a new and emerging world. These are historic times for sure and maybe some of the most significant many of us have faced considering this worldwide pandemic. The work we are doing together on behalf of our residents and in many cases each other relative to this virus. All of you have the unique ability to care and love right here at HHH making our culture a coveted one.
What is equally historic is the renewed focus on racial justice and reform. Today at 1 PM there will be a memorial service in Minneapolis, Minnesota recognizing George Floyd’s life.
Two things we would like to offer:
1. As a reflective community, we offer the thought of taking a moment of silence somewhere in the course of your day to reflect on this world and how we can each contribute to recognize our shared humanity.
2. We also have a heart shaped poster size card on the bulletin board in the Spiritual Care & Education area. You are welcome to write your name and offer a compassionate thought for the Floyd family to share some HHH love. We will then make sure to send this along to Minnesota and to the family.
We are witness to significant moments in history together at this time. We can begin to understand in new ways and be part of the change we hope for our children and grandchildren.
