This holiday season will mark the 10th year of operation for the Havenwood Heritage Heights’ Angels of Hope Program.  Together, HHH Residents, employees and friends have collected non-perishable food products and cash contributions to help support food needs in the Greater Concord Community.

HHH is proud to support The Capital Region Food Program (CRFP) and the good work they do during the holidays and all year long.  Ten years ago, the Mayor asked Concord businesses to reach out and help our friends and neighbors experiencing difficult times.  Without hesitation, HHH rose to the challenge and established The HHH Angels of Hope Program.

This worthy program has become an HHH annual charitable event to help the larger Community.  Not only does HHH think this is a great way to help our Community, so did our health care colleagues in our industry association, Leading Age Maine & New Hampshire.  In 2018, HHH received the Association’s Standing Ovation Award for Community Service because of “the Angel’s” work!

Our plan has been and remains simple, “If everyone gives just a little then together it would mean a lot!”  We count every collected food item as having a $1 value and combine that number with monetary contributions.  Every year since this program began, HHH has exceeded its goal and hopes to do so again in 2018!

Through 2017, the amazing, generous & caring HHH Angels have raised $42,086.70   And   7,465 food items -- A total of 51,381.7 items!

We hope you will join with us in 2018 and TOGETHER we will push the barometer off the chart once again!  Beginning Wednesday, November 21 through Friday, December 13, non-perishable cans and boxed foods, or a monetary contribution can be dropped off at the Campus Reception Office.  There will also be a collection table at Christmas on Main Street on Saturday, December 1st.   Each dollar collected will count as one food item.  Collected food will be delivered to the NH Armory on December 17th for the opening day of the Holiday Food Basket Project.

If you wish to make a contribution by check, please make your check payable to “Capital Region Food Program” and bring it to the Campus Reception Desk.  All checks will be kept in Financial Services for safekeeping and given directly to the CRFP Financial Administrator the week of December 17.  Contributions made by check will be acknowledged directly by the CRFP Program.

Each donor will have their name placed on a paper angel and displayed on the Wall Of Recognition located on both campuses.   I hope you will feel as inspired about this work as we do.  Thank you for your anticipated generosity.

Sincerely,

Michael A. Palmieri, President/CEO
